H.R. Owen launches the new Ferrari California
H.R. Owen Sports Cars in South Kensington's Old Brompton Road last night launched the brand new Ferrari California to a rapturous reception.
Some 250 of London's elite turned out to enjoy gorgeous cocktails, exquisite food, sultry music and a showroom transformed into an oasis of white cotton, silk and champagne.
Lights and visuals danced across three of the first Californias into the UK as well as an extremely valuable 1959 250GT California Spider and our up-for-it crowd were not disappointed when the car was unveiled.
The California is one of the most important cars in Ferrari's history and is the first car in 30 years not to have a direct predecessor, giving Ferrari a four car range for the first time ever.
